Workforce Exclusion Often Begins Long Before Opportunity Appears
Many capable African women remain excluded from meaningful economic participation not because they lack intelligence or potential, but because they lack access, exposure, practical guidance, digital familiarity, and workforce positioning opportunities.
In many cases, women are expected to prioritize survival, caregiving, or family responsibilities long before they are professionally prepared for long-term economic independence. When life circumstances change, many are left trying to re-enter a workforce that has already evolved beyond their previous experience or exposure.
